When the 2015 Nascar Sprint Cup began its preseason media tour, fans were shocked to learn that the season would be the last for Jeff Gordon. Each track took time to honor the veteran driver for his contributions. Miami Speedway, the final track of the Sprint Cup and Gordon’s career, approached ZVerse to create a special gift for the driver.
Miami Speedway representatives were looking for a unique gift that could showcase the track in it’s current form. ZVerse delivered with an up-to-date model replica of the Miami Speedway track fixed to a wooden base. They were so impressed with Gordon’s gift that they ordered 50 more units to give to distinguished guests and to sell in retail stores.
The gift received high praise from the Miami team and Gordon himself. The driver actually owns a small 3D printer and was amazed with our product. The project forged a special relationship with Miami Speedway, who ultimately referred us to Michigan Speedway for a similar project.
